The FOCμS LAB is awarded NIH funded P20 grant, a five year grant from NIH’s Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) program as part of the Nebraska Center for Integrated Biomolecular Communication (CIBC). Prof. Kidambi is one of the five project leaders in the Center. In this study, the lab will engineer Biomimetic Multicellular Liver Models (BMLM) to mimic various stages of liver fibrosis. Congratulations!

Akshat Saraf’s proposal titled “Effect of Omega-3 Fatty Acid on Liver Function in Space” was selected as one of the finalist for the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program from 530 proposals.
